Can Lantus Be Mixed With Other Insulins. For instance never mix lantus or levemir with any other solution. Not work as intended and you may lose blood sugar control which could be serious. I think it s still the same. Thanks for sharing your not so pleasant experience with lantus.
Not work as intended and you may lose blood sugar control which could be serious. Never mix lantus insulin with any other insulin. That s the way i learned it 30 years ago. The only insulin that is not advised for mixing with another insulin is lantus insulin glargine ph 4 because of the different ph and if you mix it with another insulin of a normal ph it will degrade faster. Other insulins novolog 70 30 humalog 75 25 are already a combination of two types of insulin and should not be mixed. Lantus insulin glargine is really special.
